(2) The books ‘De Speld. 2019: Nog een jaar’, ‘De Speld. 2022: Een ander jaar’, ‘De Speld. 2023: Toch een jaar’ (2018–2023)are a best-of selection of the articles of that year.
(3) The book ‘100 years De Speld part 1’ (2017) appears in honour of their jubilee. It contains a selection of the best articles from the past 10 years. ‘150 jaar De Speld’ (2022) is a best-of selection of the articles of the last 15 years.
(4) ‘De Speld. De Toekomst: het boek’ In this handbook, De Speld looks at the forces that will shape the future in an observable manner: artificial intelligence, biotechnology and climate change. What if computers get smarter than we do? How do we survive tinkering with our genes? Are we going to save ourselves in times of climate change?
